FLASH MARRIAGE-13.1

First of all I apologize for the late update, I have been travelling a lot these past few days thus didn’t get time to post new chapter. In this chapter our second male lead is introduced. Although you guys have already read about his online persona but now you will get to meet the 3-D one and we will also see exactly how much of an ‘idiot’ our Xiao Yan is.

P.S.: Personally i prefer brunette guys over blond. Is your taste similar to mine or are you into blond guys?...;)

Chapter 13: A dusky evening on the island (1)

our second lead...quite an eye candy....

Walking on the beautiful beach of the island was an absolute pleasure. I gently walked on the sand, frequently closing my eyes to enjoy the breeze carrying the flavor of sea; suddenly thought of my previous dream of selling bananas in Maldives, at this moment that dream seemed like a good choice.

Unfortunately, oh unfortunately, heard more than two thousands of such beautiful islands would be engulfed by sea water, ruminating this really made me sad.

My Skin’s very sensitive to sun and could get sun-burnt very easily. Thus, although coated with sunscreen but for an extra layer of protection I wore extra-large clothes. I was wearing casual pants on the bottom and upper body was covered with a huge baggy t-shirt.

Walking on the beach dressed like this though was kind of weird but it was really useful. This baggy T-shirt was one of my favorite shirts because it was not expensive. And also this t-shirt was a gift by He Zhi on my twenty-fifth birthday, she herself designed it and then got it custom stitched. On the front side of this t-shirt there were some strange symbols, according to He-Zhi these symbols were a legacy of ancient world’s major civilization, they apparently ward off evil spirits. While on the back “Funny Yan Yan” these words were printed in black ink, there were also some poem verses. I actually did not understand the calligraphy but those strokes of brush looked very pleasing to eyes. By He-Zhi’s account, she struggled a bit in order to look for this specific calligraphy etc etc. About the credibility of these words I had reservation but this did not affect my affection for this t-shirt, in fact this t-shirt made me have an aesthetic appeal in He-Zhi’s eyes.


At such a pleasant place, under such a pleasant weather it’s only appropriate to wear my best clothes.
I was strolling on the beach; suddenly someone came from behind and tapped on my shoulder. I thought it was Jiang Li and was wondering how come he took the initiative to talk to me and turned around only to find myself in front of a stranger.

He had long blond hair with streaks of bright yellow highlights. Although I did not like his hairstyle but could not help to admit his face was not bad, fine facial features, at the corner of his eyes a line appeared when he smiled. Such a person standing under the sun looked more graceful because of bright sunlight.

I instantly felt that my ability to charm people was not small, ah, this handsome guy actually took the initiative to strike a conversation with me. So I timidly lifted the corner of my mouth slightly and was about to say something but he opened his mouth first.

He tilted his head a little, softly raised his eyebrows, gave me a mesmerizing smile and then said: “Idiot?”

The word Idiot was said in a very clear voice, moreover in an interrogative tone.

I was both innocent and indignant; did I tease him or provoke him? How could he call the person he had just met for the first time ‘an idiot’! Try asking a normal girl if a stranger calls her idiot, would she stand it? Not to mention if the stranger’s a handsome guy, it’s unforgivable.

So I felt the person before me was seriously ill-bred and was in need of reformation, therefore I did not bother about him anymore and turned around to walk away. In my heart I was thinking the world is full of brain damaged people, if every time you meet them and they curse you, wouldn’t that be exhausting.

Who knew that ungrateful guy not only had an inflexible brain but also thick skin; he followed after me and asked once more: “You are an idiot?”

I was fed up, turned around to yell: “You are idiot; your whole family is idiot! Troublesome brother I advise you to leave me alone or I will beat you to death!”

Once I finished yelling the other person suddenly started giggling and said: “Truly idiot.”

Now I was 80% sure that this man was mentally retarded so I did not pay him any heed and turned to continue going forward. The retarded man behind me immediately shouted: “Aren’t you called ‘official game idiot’ in ‘ode to gallantry’?”

I promptly stopped, looked back at him in disbelief.

This person, he knew I was ‘official game idiot’? I quickly thought about ‘Romance after the dusk’ who a few days back had said that he would stick along with his son and daughter in law to Maldives then this man in front of me was……the son of ‘Romance after the dusk’? Really ‘Romance after the dusk’ how could he tell everything to his son, causing me to lose face in front of a handsome guy.

But, but, but ... .quite a coincidence, right?
Although it was fishy, but it was up to me to believe it or not.  After mulling it over for a while, I eventually walked in front of that long haired handsome guy, scrutinized him, shook my head and sighed: “That wretched ‘Romance after the dusk’ uncle, how was he able to give birth to such a good looking son, genetic theory is really unreliable……”

Handsome guy in front suddenly screamed crazily: "How many times have I told you, I am a handsome, energetic man with boundless charms!”

"Oh yeah, you have learnt these insane words of your dad from the internet……” I pretended to smile comfortably but in my mind there was a vague awkwardness, his words were exactly similar to that wretched ‘Romance after the dusk’ uncle’s, ah……

He pulled his hair and angrily said: “I am ‘romance after the dusk’! I still don’t have any children, but I won’t mind if you help me in giving birth to one!”

I patted his chest, then took two steps back, said: "Why are you talking so loudly, is it out of guilt….”

Romance after the dusk glared at me, said: “You have put me in this embarrassing situation, if I bring out the whole guild only then will you believe me?”

"Ugh, There’s no need for that, I believe, I believe." I started wildly waving my hands, eventually subjugated under his despotic power.

‘Romance after the dusk” finally feeling much better, had a smile back on his face and said: “You are even more stupid than I imagined you to be.”

In fact it’s not me who was stupid, but ‘Romance after the dusk’ who had given me wrong impression. Due to his usual demeanor an image was ingrained in my heart which was of a middle aged despicable uncle who liked to molest women online, such people are quite abundant in number on the internet. The guy in front of me was a far cry from the ’Romance after the dusk’ of my imagination, completely did not meet the standards, so if I was not able to recognize him then it’s totally excusable.

Thinking like this I was able to forgive myself in my heart.
